Today I would like to share with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s July Stamp of the Month Hightlight Reel

Ive made one card this month to get back into the groove of these wonderful blog hops!
I have started with  using lovely papers from the Documented range.  Keeping it simple, I used the spotty boarder included in the the SOTM  July 2018 to make a spotty background in pansy Ink. 
In black I stamped a simple happy birthday from my stash of stamps.

Using Pansy Ink again, I stamped "a day to remember" and two bold hearts, cut them out and used pop dots to adhere them to the card. 

Cut a strip of Pink glitter card stock to blend the two papers together, and used matching documented Dots. 

This is a simple but effective card.

July card class featuring new season stamps

I'm still using the free paper pack from the few months ago, this one paper pack is lasting me for ever... love how much use you can get out of one pack of mixed pages,
So very simple, and only using a few simple ideas, laying of the Happy birthday and the gold foil strip completely complements the beautiful gold foiled flower paper.

As usual its so easy to compliment with the gold and white sticky sequins.

Here is a sneek peek of a new stamp from the next Annual Inspirations available in August 2016.

The set is called "Happy Heart Sentiments" A lovely little set to put a smile on anyones face.

Again, really really simple, I love to make really complicated cards, but sometimes a simple easy card can have just as much effect.

This next card is using a old sotm.. but a new technique. Using the watercolor paint and a ziplock sandwich bag.....

Dripping bit of colours all over the plastic and laying onto the card surface. A bit of push and smoosh.

Wahhla.... stamp onto of your image.  

I found that keeping the paint watery is best as if it's to dark it's hard to see the stamped images.

First class of 2016

Hi everyone,

Happy new year!!

and welcome to 2016

 

First class of the year is a valentines week one.

Making first the wonderful stamp of the month, the super cute balloon animals.

 

Second one is a stamp that I used a few days before for a baby shower card, so I kept everything out when I was preparing for my class.

So many uses for a stamp I thought would have just been for rainy day stamping.

 

 

 

Last but not least, is the beautiful Valentines card, made with January stamp of the month. 

Two step stamping, ended up such a beautiful result, and everyone was extreamly impressed with how it all turned out.  

 

Due to my time constraints,  these card designs came from different ideas from other wonderful Close to my heart Consultants.

I just chopped and changed a few things around to suit my customers .

Pintrest, a consultants best friend... thank you fellow CTMHers.

MIA

Hey to all my fellow bloggers out there,

this past few months have been very very stressful. With my partner in a accident in icu for a month, and then months in rehap. Things are only just kind of getting back to normal.

 

That's the explanation of my MIA, and believe me I have missed it,

But slowly will I be getting back into my blogging.
And the CTMH blog hops.

 

I have done a few workshops, and recently re started up my fortnightly card classes, but just have not had time to put up all the goodies we made on here, there may be a influx soon, when I get time too.

 

For today I'm going to add a part of the workshop for this weekend.

I'm really excited for it.

 

 

Isn't it so cute!!!! There is more to go with it, to use as a single gift or split it for a few gifts.

A taster for the workshop plan I will put up next week for this. :)
